If you think about Bike Helmets it seems like they have been around forever however Bike helmets have just recently started passing laws. In 1985 the first widely adopted standard Bicycle Helmet was used. 1990 the Helmets research caused for New construction and added a thin shell. 1999 U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission created mandatory standards for bike Helmets. Today in 2010 Bike Helmets are still trying to pass laws.
